The lodge was absolutely stunning, with tasteful decor and a beautiful pool area. We had the chance to see wildlife up close during our bike rides and walks around the nature reserve, which was an incredible experience. The food at the lodge was fantastic - we enjoyed delicious meals for lunch and dinner, and breakfasts were a treat too. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. They even arranged our safaris and took us into town for a day of shopping and lunch.

Honestly, there wasn't anything to dislike about our stay. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed every aspect of our experience at the lodge.

The lodge's location in a private estate allowed us to go on walks and bike rides where we could spot animals like Giraffes, Kudus, Zebras, and more. we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this lodge to others.

Lovely location in a game reserve. Friendly staff who went above and beyond to assist us. We enjoyed hiring bikes and going on a guided ride to see the animals. The Garden Suite was exceptional. Only drawback was the limited food options. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

Loved sipping gin and tonic while watching African sunset over the mountains. The concept of Unembeza is so strong, it's basically the essence of humanity. Being able to explore the estate on foot or by bike was a refreshing change from being chased by elephants and lions.

Such a shame that I had to leave and go back home. I wish I could stay longer and enjoy the wonderful hospitality and surprises.

The team at Unembeza looked after our family around the clock, making us feel like VIPs. The full-day safari to Kruger National Park was a highlight, with the open safari vehicle giving us an exhilarating and up-close experience with the incredible wildlife. Hoedspruit's proximity to various game reserves allowed us to explore the stunning surroundings and witness the beauty of nature. The extensive list of activities kept the whole family entertained, from thrilling sense safaris to relaxing African massages at the onsite bush spa. It was truly an unforgettable experience that we'll cherish forever.

For dads, it would be great to have a dedicated play area for children.

Sadly, the main lodge manager was not the friendliest person and seemed impatient at times. It's important for someone in that position to always maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor, especially in front of guests.
